Soul Thing – by EJ
The significance of this performance was it was the last time the whole band played together on that tour. Felix left after that. He had a big solo at the beginning of this song because Taylor was honoring his contribution to the tour.

Nothing you can’t handle, Nothing you ain’t got! -by Diane
This was the official last show of the Summer Tour. It was the second night in a row that Taylor opened for Earth Wind and Fire. Reportedly, Bob Dylan and Michael Douglas were in the audience that night. I was lucky to have a front row seat. And so, I managed to be at the first Spring Tour concert in Jacksonville and the last one in Seattle; the second Summer Tour concert in Cohasset and the last one in Jones Beach (or Pearl River if you count that as the last); Taylor’s opening night performance of Grease and Taylor’s final performance in Grease last night. It has been a pleasure to be a fan of Taylor Hicks. What a great ride!

Southern Born and Southern Bred - by Stacy
The show at the Wharf in Orange Beach was the perfect way to spend a Labor Day weekend, followed by a nightcap of Taylor Hicks and friends at the legendary Flora-Bama down on the beach. Here’s one that I know we locals sure appreciated – a stellar medley of “The Maze” and “My Home’s in Alabama.” Welcome home, Taylor.
