A Year Ago Today – Taylor Hicks at Millersville University, PA

Millersville was the next to the last Summer Tour concert.  It seemed that the Soul Patrol came to this little University Homecoming concert from all over the country.  The concert was wonderful.  As Taylor came out for the encore, I hurried to the front and got a spot right in front of the microphone. Then Taylor started tuning up Josh’s guitar and I heard the first notes of HWH and my heart went into my throat. After 25 concert shows, I had seen almost every song he had sung, but not that one. I had my camera on his face the entire time during this song, but was watching him over the top of the camera. I loved this performance.
